This 7-day budget camping itinerary extends the classic 6-day Umbwe schedule with an extra acclimatization day at Barranco (including the 'climb high, sleep low' walk to Lava Tower), significantly improving summit success over the rushed standard version. You'll scramble the famous Barranco Wall, cross Karanga Valley, and push for Uhuru Peak via Stella Point before descending through the Mweka rainforest.
