Day by day
Drive to Umbwe Gate and begin the steep ascent through dense, ancient rainforest. The trail follows a narrow ridge between two river valleys. Moss, ferns, and buttress-rooted trees create an otherworldly atmosphere. Arrive at a camp near a rock overhang.
